🎯 Reward Rates
- 5X accelerated rewards: 5 RP per ₹100 on online spends and dining. At ₹0.20 per point, this is ₹1 per ₹100, a 1% value. It is not 5% cashback.
- Base rewards: 1 RP per ₹100 on all other eligible spends, which is 0.20% value.
- Online means the merchant acquirer flags the transaction as online. Dining means MCC 5812 only.
- Cap: 5X rewards are limited to 1,000 RP per statement cycle on the qualifying categories. This works out to ₹200 of value, reached at about ₹20,000 of combined dining + online spend. The maximum from 5X over 12 cycles is ₹2,400.
- Spends above the cap [confirm whether they earn the 1 RP base rate or nothing].

🚫 Zero-Reward & Excluded Spends
- Fuel transactions earn no reward points on SELECT.
- Spends in the special MCC categories listed in the MITC’s Annexure 1 earn neither 5X nor base points [check the MITC for the full list].
- Transactions below ₹100 earn no reward points.
⚠️ Fine Print
- Reward points are credited based on the merchant category code or online flag provided by the merchant’s acquiring bank. If a merchant is coded differently, you may not earn 5X, and BOBCARD isn’t liable for MCC-mapping disputes.
- Points earned in a statement cycle become available to redeem only after that statement is generated.
- Expiry: points are valid for 2 years from the month they are earned. SELECT points are not evergreen.
- Refunds and returns reduce the points you’ve accrued by the matching amount.
- Points lapse if the card is closed by you or the bank, if the cardholder dies, or if the card isn’t used for over 365 days. They also lapse if dues are overdue for more than 90 days, the account becomes an NPA, or you opt for a settlement. They lapse if fraud is found, or if a replacement card isn’t activated within 6 months.
- BOBCARD can suspend or cancel points if the account is in arrears, restructured, suspended or in default.
💰 Redemption
- Redeem points for cashback at 1 RP = ₹0.20.
- Minimum for redemption against the card statement: 1,000 RP (₹200).
- No redemption fee.
- Cashback does not count as payment of your last statement. You still need to pay the previous statement’s outstanding amount, and the cashback is adjusted against your next statement balance.

- 500 bonus RP (₹100 value) on spends of ₹5,000 or more within 60 days of card issuance.
- No welcome gift, lounge access or golf benefit.
🏦 Fees & Fee Waiver
- Joining / first-year fee: ₹0, applicable from 1 Sept 2026 [
- From the second year: ₹750 annual fee.
- Waiver: spend ₹70,000 in the preceding card anniversary year and the annual fee is reversed. Fee reversal applies only to non-delinquent cardholders.
⛽ Fuel Surcharge Waiver
- 1% waiver on fuel transactions between ₹400 and ₹5,000, with a maximum of ₹250 per statement.
- Fuel spends still earn no reward points.
🔄 Other Benefits
- Smart EMI: convert purchases of ₹2,500 or more into EMIs of 6 to 48 months.
- Add-on cards: up to 3 lifetime free add-on cards for your spouse, parents, siblings or kids (above age 18).
- Contactless payments: no PIN required for spends up to ₹5,000 at retail merchants.
Eligibility Criteria
- Indian resident
- Age: 25 to 55 years
- Salaried or self-employed with net annual income above ₹4.8 lakh
Required Documents
- Mandatory: recent passport-size photograph (clear or white background, no dark or tinted glass) and PAN card.
- Permanent address proof (any one): Aadhaar (both sides), Voter ID, passport, driving licence, NREGA job card signed by a State Government officer, or a National Population Register letter.
- If your present address differs: additional present address proof is required.
- Income proof, salaried: bank statement showing salary credits for the last 2 months. Salary slips, if submitted, must come with the bank statement.
- Income proof, self-employed: PDF bank statement showing business transactions for the last 3 months.
