🎯 Reward Rates

• Base earn: 2 reward points for every ₹150 spent, which is 1.33 points per ₹100.
• Real value: Reward points have no single fixed rupee value.
  • Best case: roughly ₹0.89 per point via Accor hotel points (HSBC’s own conversion, at a December 2024 exchange rate). That works out to ≈1.19% back.
  • Cash/statement-credit floor: about ₹0.25 per point, which is ≈0.33% back (an estimate from a third party, not HSBC).
  • Airlines: 2 points = 1 mile for most programmes, which is 1 mile per ₹150.
• Travel with Points: HSBC’s headline is “up to 6X”. By its own page, 6X on flights applies to Privé and Premier, with 4X for other eligible cards. Hotels are 6X on other eligible cards, and car rentals are 2X.
  • Accelerated points are capped at 18,000 per month.
  • The convenience fee is ₹300 per domestic flight leg and ₹700 per international leg.
• Apple purchases: 5X points on the HSBC Unicorn portal only (not in stores), credited within 60 days.

🧮 Real Spend Examples

• ₹30,000 monthly spend: 200 slabs × 2 = 400 points a month. That’s about ₹356 (≈1.19%) at the best-case Accor value, or about ₹100 (≈0.33%) at the cash estimate.
• Welcome 2,000 points: worth roughly ₹500 to ₹1,780, or 1,000 airline miles on most programmes.
• Fuel cashback: Tapping 4 fill-ups of ₹2,500 in a quarter = ₹10,000, so you get ₹250 back (2.5%). Spending ₹20,000 still gets only ₹250 (1.25%).

🚫 No Reward Points

• Credit card Instant EMI (IEMI) transactions earn no points, and none are reinstated if the EMI is cancelled or pre-closed.

⛽ Fuel Benefits

• Contactless fuel cashback: ₹250 per calendar quarter once you hit ₹10,000 in eligible contactless fuel spends.
  • Each tap must be between ₹1,000 and ₹5,000, made domestically at a fuel MCC (5541, 5542, 5983).
  • Spends are combined across primary and add-on cards, and cashback goes to the primary cardholder within 45 days of quarter end.
  • The minimum due must be paid within 30 days of the due date, and KYC must be up to date.
  • The offer period is 1 Sep 2025 to 31 Dec 2026, so a new applicant realistically gets only the Oct–Dec 2026 quarter. This offer can’t be combined with other offers.
• Fuel surcharge waiver: Up to ₹250 a month on fuel transactions between ₹400 and ₹4,000.

• 2,000 bonus points: Download and log in to the HSBC India Mobile Banking app and spend at least ₹5,000 in the first 30 days of having your card.
• ₹250 Amazon eGift: Apply online, complete Video KYC and receive your card.
  • The offer period is 1 Jan to 31 Oct 2026, and the card must be issued within it.
  • The code is emailed by 15 Dec 2026 and valid for 6 months from issuance.
• Activation voucher (via Visa): Make one single transaction of ₹300 or more on your new card.
  • The voucher is ₹250 for Visa Platinum (Visa’s T&C). HSBC’s page says “up to ₹500”.

  • Zomato vouchers work for food delivery only. Only one voucher is allowed per person, and refunds or cancellations on the qualifying transaction disqualify it.

• Times Prime: 12 months, including Spotify Premium, Uber One, Discovery+, Moneycontrol Pro, Lenskart Gold and more (the partner list can change).
• MakeMyTrip seat discount: Up to ₹350 off per domestic flight booking, for 2 bookings per card per financial year (1 Apr 2026 to 31 Mar 2027).
  • It’s a discount, not a free seat.
  • It is valid on bookings through MakeMyTrip only, and paid by the eligible card, not by wallet or debit.
